Senior Account Manager

Location:
London

Job Description

The role will focus around managing and selling online marketing solutions to major digital agencies.

The ideal candidate will also be involved in:

· Identifying and exploiting new sales channels and business opportunities

· Utilising own and ad pepper media’s agency contacts to promote ad pepper media’s delivery capabilities within the UK and European markets

· Developing and managing leads and following deals through to completion

· Building new business via introductions to leading media agencies and establishing relationships through regular contact

· Achieving and exceeding targets in a dynamic fast-changing sales environment

· Working closely with the Head of Agency Sales as well as with the Sales Director

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with an outgoing personality, who is pro-active, ambitious and has plenty of energy and drive.  The ideal candidate will be able to take on personal responsibility, be self-motivated and take pride in individual performance within the context of team success. A good sense of humour is a definite plus.

Expected Experience:

· The ideal candidate must have a minimum of one year online sales experience selling to London media agencies

· Experience in interactive marketing, to include either online advertising sales, e-mail marketing or lead generation
 
· Perhaps already working for a sales network

Skills and Attributes:

· Strong negotiation skills

· Highly organised and able to manage various projects simultaneously

· Ability to eloquently deliver a strong sales pitch on the phone as well as presenting to clients face-to-face

· Good understanding of online marketing concepts (e.g. e-commerce, e-CRM etc.)

Business Development Manager iSense

Role: Business Development Account Manager
Reporting to: Head of Business Development
Salary Range: c. £40,000, OTE £55,000+
Other Benefits: BUPA Healthcare
Holiday Entitlement: Statutory holiday +25 days
Normal Working Hours: 8.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. Monday – Friday

Job Specification:

· Aggressive distribution of the iSense suite of products via revenue share contracts with website publishers.

· To account manage and optimize existing and new iSense distribution contracts to achieve maximum revenue for ad pepper and its publisher partners.

· To meet and exceed mutually agreed  inventory and revenue targets.

· To manage the wider relationship between ad pepper media UK and its iSense inventory partners and to assist in delivering outstanding account management on behalf of ad pepper to those partners.

· To work closely with all parties to ensure that ad pepper meets and exceeds the objectives of its partner sites and databases.

Personal Specification:

The ideal candidate will have:

· Experience of distribution deals within the paid listings, search marketing, pay-per-click arena.

· A proven track-record of achieving and sustaining high levels of outbound call and meeting activity.

· At least two years sales experience at least one of which is within a predominantly online advertising environment, ideally in a site recruitment capacity.

· Demonstrable proficiency in account management.

· Excellent telephone presentation and negotiation skills.

· Good written presentation skills.

· Determined, competitive and self motivated to achieve high commissions.

· Able to demonstrate a high degree of social confidence sufficient to maintain trading relationships at senior level.

ad pepper media is rolling out a new Semantic product suite called iSense in the UK and the rest of Europe this year.  iSense products are developed on patented back end technology developed by Crystal Semantics – which APM acquired in Q1 of 06.  With Crystal Semantic’s Textonomy Sense Engine technology, we are able to analyze all the text on a webpage to define the most relevant theme of the page.  Having defined the relevant theme of a webpage, we are than able to use the criteria for precise semantic targeting of Display Ads, Related Search Terms, Sponsored Listings, eCommerce offers, Video and many other ad-server deliverable products and formats.

The opportunity in the UK and other markets is huge, extremely exciting and this new product suite is central to ad pepper media’s continued growth strategy.

Salary Range: c. £26,000, OTE £45,000+
Sales Commission: Un-capped

Normal Working Hours: 8.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. Monday – Friday

Job Specification:

· Recruitment of website partners into the portfolio of ad pepper web sites.

· The recruitment of eMail partner databases into the ad pepper eMail database.

· To meet and exceed mutually agreed activity, inventory and revenue targets.

· To maintain and grow trading relationships with existing website and eMail delivery partners.

· To manage the wider relationship between ad pepper media UK and its inventory partners and to assist in delivering outstanding account management on behalf of ad pepper to those partners.

· To work closely with all parties to ensure that ad pepper meets and exceeds the objectives of its partner sites and databases.
